Coaching Applications

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach with Bedford Soccer Association (BSA) please fill out the BSA Coach Application Form

Once BSA has confirmed you as a coach, you will need to: 
  1. Obtain an updated Criminal Record check. Coaches with an expired criminal record (3 years or older) will be provided a link to renew through BSA. Please email if you need to renew your background check prior to the beginning of the season.
  2. BSA also requests coaches to fill out the Nova Scotia Child Abuse Register .  This is a free service offered through the Nova Scotia government.
  3. There are also coaching course requirements that are offered through Soccer NS.(Active Start, Fundamentals, Learn to Train, Soccer for Life, etc) Please contact us to verify your required coaching course requirements.
  4. Coaches are required to take Making Ethical Decisions (MED) course through Soccer NS
